2. Biolatina 2010
Date: September, 2010
City: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Brief: The trade show takes place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, biannually. With the growth of the Brazilian biomarket, Biolatina has turned into Latin America’s biggest biotech related exhibition and trade event. 3. BrasilPlast 2011

Brief: Brasilplast is the biggest and most complete plastic industry trade show in Latin America. The visitors are in mainly directors, managers and related people that work in the marketing sections of various companies.

4. FCE Pharma 2011

City: Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Brief: It is the only exclusive event of technology for the pharmaceutical industry in Latin America. FCE Pharma 2008 has broken through as the most important meeting point among the industry. 5. FutureCom 2010
Date: October 25 – 28, 2010
City: Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Brief: Futurecom is the most important event of the Telecom and IT industry in Latin America. 6. Broadcast & Cable 2010
Date: August 24 – 26, 2010
City: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Brief: International Fair of Technology and Equipment for Broadcasting and Telecommunications Industry. Broadcast & Cable 2008 had about 10,000 visitors, 150 booths, and 180 exhibiting companies. The trade show usually takes place at the Centro de Convencoes Imigrantes in Sao Paulo – Brazil, in the end of August and the exact dates are yet to be announced.

Brief: Nanotec Expo is the most important nanotechnology trade show and exposition for latin America and the main event of technology and business for cientific community and companies.

8. Brasilpack 2010
Date: March 08 – 12, 2010
City: Sao Paulo, SP – Brazil
Brief: Packing related trade show. The International week of packaging, printing, and logistics in 2008 had about 1,000 exhibitors, 26 countries, and about 45,000 visitors from over 300 countries.  According to the website, Brasilpack 2008 was the biggest trade show of this industry in South America.

9. LAAD 2011
Date: April 12 – 15, 2011
City: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Brief: Latin America Aero & Defense is the largest and most important event for the Armed Forces of Latin America and for the region’s defense industries. The exhibition combines the tri-service military show and the new Homeland Security Sector.

10. Rio Oil & Gas 2010
Date: September 13 – 16, 2010
City: Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Brief: It’s a leading oil and gas industry fair in Latin America. Since its first edition in 1982, both the exhibition and the conference have contributed to build up Rio de Janeiro's reputation of being the “Brazilian oil capital”. In fact, Rio de Janeiro State concentrates 80% of the oil produced in the country, along with 50% of the total gas production.
